Anserem Consulting was established in January 2023. Our name is derived from the Latin word "anser", meaning "goose". While some might think this an odd animal to choose to symbolise a consulting company, we disagree. Geese display many outstanding qualities which are mirrored in our consulting approach and values:

• Adaptability: Geese can adapt to various environments during their migratory journey, akin to a consultant's ability to adapt to changing financial landscapes and regulatory environments as your venture braves its own journey.
   

• Leadership: Geese rotate the lead position during migration to share the burden. Similarly, the right consultant is capable of stepping into leadership roles when necessary, and can guide teams through complex financial projects with humbleness and confidence. 
   

• Problem Solving: Geese will work to solve problems encountered during their journey, such as finding food and coping with harsh weather. Similarly, consultants excel in problem-solving, especially when it comes to reconciling discrepancies or devising strategic financial plans.
   

• Endurance: The long migration journey of a goose requires stamina and persistence, qualities mirrored in a consultant's capacity to endure busy periods like tax season or year-end closing.

     

• Foresight: A goose begins preparation for migration well ahead of time. In the same way, a consultant uses foresight to anticipate future financial implications, providing proactive advice and preparing the company for upcoming changes.
